1937 Nashua Scout Cabin

The 1937 WPA Scout Cabin is in desperate need of renovation. It has served our community and Pack 3057 and Troop 57 well for the past 84 years, but in order to continue the legacy of developing leadership skills in our scouts, we must do some serious preservation to this historical landmark cabin. We have split this restoration into a three-phase project with the end goal of having the cabin restored for another 100+ years.

Due to the severity of the roof, Phase 2 and 1 had to be swapped, therefore, the roof will have to be removed in order to complete the log and chinking replacement.

Phase 1: Includes 17 log replacements, chinking removal and replacement and additional repairs needed to allow the building to continue standing.
Estimated cost: $55,000.00 (Project starting in Summer of 2023!)

Phase 2: Includes historic roof replacement and roof repair.
Estimated cost: $19,000.00 (COMPLETED SUMMER 2022!)f

Phase 3: Includes all new windows and interior restoration, including electricity.
Estimated cost: $10,000.00
